Basic Rules
Expanded Rules
The Dragons
Katatheo the Proud (Red Dragon)
High Defense/HP
High DPS
Watch out for the circles of fire as they put out a lot of damage
A tank and a good number of DPS can take this one down
Oxuno the Treacherous (Green Dragon)
Low Defense/HP
Constant lethal AOE DOT (Poison Cloud)
Two DCs running Hollowed Ground or Anointed Army can help to counteract the poison cloud
A handful of DPS is enough to inflict lethal damage
Ekdos the Cruel (Black Dragon)
Massive DPS
High Defense/HP
Acid AOE DOT that reduces your damage resistance
Do not revive anyone
Do not use a Soulforge armor enchantment
When someone dies, a wraith is spawned. If a Soulforge revives them, they will revive in the AOE of the wraith and immediately die again, spawning yet another wraith.
When a wraith spawns, it will target a single individual and follow them. If a wraith follows you, run directly AWAY from the dragon until it vanishes.
Companions are OK
Chrysos the Vain (Blue Dragon)
Massive DPS
Moderate Defense/HP
AOE Thunderclap that will one shot everyone
A group of very high DPS can absolutely melt this dragon quickly
If you don't have such a group of DPS, then the best strategy is to send 2 teams of 5.
The first team attacks while the second team watches from outside the wall.
When the first dies, the second team advances and attacks while the first team respawns and waits outside the wall for the first team to die.
Companions are OK. If you're going to die, you're going to die anyway.
Dragon Locations
Instructions for Dragonflight Commanders: goo.gl/2JPtEb
- When the event is triggered at the Traveling Wizard, the dragons will land in 1 minute
- After the dragons land, you have 10 minutes in which to kill the dragons
- When any dragon is killed, the timer resets to 1 minute regardless of whether there was 5 minutes or 5 seconds left (this is a good way to get a little extra time if you can kill 1 dragon with only a few seconds left in the original 10 minute timer)
- Do not talk to the Traveling Wizard! This is where the event is triggered and only the person hosting the Dragonflight should speak to the Traveling Wizard
- Pay attention to the chat! Watch for further commands such as "RED GO BLUE" (this means for the people at the red dragon to go to the blue dragon) or "STOP AT BLACK" (this means the team at the black dragon needs to stop attacking the dragon until the other dragons catch up)
- If you don't know where to go, follow the crowd
Expanded Rules
- Listen to the Dragonflight Commander: The DFC is the person organizing the event and will be the person giving you instructions.
- Listen to what the Dragonflight Commander asks of you! Do not complain or try to argue with the DFC! Any questions, comments or suggestions can wait until after the event has ended. The DFC cannot engage in conversation while running the event.
- Keep your dragon's mechanics in mind: The better you know and prepare for your dragon, the more likely you are to succeed.
- Dragon Empowerers: As a general rule, ranged DPS should be responsible for the Empowerers when they spawn and only attack the dragon when there are no empowerers.
- Pay attention to the chat! It is absolutely necessary to monitor the chat and follow the DFC's instructions
- Finishing Dragons: If your dragon's health gets low, your team may be instructed to move to another dragon. Pay attention to the chat.
